Cheaper window robots wander and go over the same pane twice while missing a corner. This one plans the route before it starts and works the glass in straight passes — auto, Z-pattern or N-pattern — spraying as it goes so the cloth never runs dry.

What makes it different

Why two cords? The black cable is the power cord: the robot runs on mains power, and its backup battery keeps it on the glass for 20 minutes if the power cuts out. The thin line is the 80 kg safety rope: tie it to the window handle or something heavy, and if the robot ever loses its grip, it hangs on the rope instead of falling.
